The National Judiciary Informatics System (the UYAP) 

The National Judiciary Informatics System (the UYAP), an e-justice system based on the usage of information technology during the judicial process, is being established in order to make judicial process faster in the Turkish Council of State. The aim of the System is to set up an electronic network covering all Supreme Judicial Institutions, courts, offices of public prosecutors and law enforcement offices. It is beyond doubt that this improvement will play a considerable role in tackling huge backlog and increasing the efficiency of judicial process within the framework of the Council of State.
